Head of School's Message
Dear Parents and Carers,

Welcome back, and a very Happy New Year to you all.
We hope you had a restful winter break and enjoyed some special time with your families. The children have returned full of energy and it already feels as though many of them have grown in just these two short weeks!
As we settle back into our routines, we would like to raise your awareness of the impact that early collections can have – not only on your child, but also on the room they are in, the staff team working with them, and the admin team. While we understand that early collections are sometimes unavoidable, they can be very disruptive to the flow of the session and to the wider team.
Wherever possible, we kindly encourage you to collect your child at the usual home time of 3pm. This helps your child to settle into a consistent school routine and allows staff to complete planned learning activities without interruption.
If you do need to collect your child early, please be aware that not all of their personal belongings may be ready to go home with them. The admin team will be collecting your child from a busy room that is not yet in “home time” mode, and some items may still be in use or not yet gathered together. If any belongings are missed at an early collection, we ask for your understanding and that you collect these items the following day.
Thank you for your support and cooperation in helping the nursery day run as smoothly as possible.

Success Story of the Week!
Dear Parents,

We have welcomed lots of new children into our Nursery this week across all three rooms, and it has been a pleasure to welcome our new families into our community.
Most of the children have settled really well, and from experience we know that those who find the first few days a little more difficult will soon be flourishing in the setting.
It has also been wonderful to see how children who have been with us for some time have welcomed the new starters, showing them where their favourite resources are kept and taking them under their wings to play.
There has been a real sense of community spirit from some of our very youngest members.
We look forward to seeing what wonderful adventures they will enjoy over the remainder of the academic year.
