Head of School's Message
Dear Parents and Carers,
At Oxhey Nursery School, we are always striving to provide the very best experiences for our children and families. One of the most valuable ways we can continue to improve is through feedback from you.

Parent reviews are the most sought-after and trusted form of feedback for nurseries, as they offer honest, first-hand insight into the care and education children receive. Your views are extremely important to us and help us to understand what we are doing well and where we can develop further.

We are very proud of the positive relationships we build with children and families, and of the high levels of engagement you show in nursery life. By sharing your experience, you help to celebrate this partnership and give other families a clearer picture of what Oxhey Nursery School can offer.

If you have a moment, we would be very grateful if you could leave us a short review on Google, the link is provided below. Your comments not only support our ongoing work in the local community, but also help other families to find us and make informed choices about their child’s early education.

Success Story of the Week!
Dear Parents,

This week at Oxhey Nursery School, the children have been captivated by our focus story, 'Handa’s Surprise.'
Using the book as our inspiration, we have explored, tasted and experienced a wonderful range of exotic fruits. The children were excited to use all their senses – looking closely at the colours and shapes, feeling the different textures, smelling the sweet scents and, of course, enjoying a little taste!

We also extended the story by learning about animals from different continents, just like the ones Handa meets on her journey. Through songs, pictures, small-world play and discussion, the children discovered where these animals live and how they behave, really bringing the story to life.
This rich, hands-on learning experience has supported language development, curiosity and confidence, and it has been a joy to see the children retelling the story in their own words and play.
