Head of School's Message
Dear Parents and Carers,

With the colder weather now upon us and the cost of living continuing to rise, we are very aware that this can be a particularly challenging time for many families. To offer a little extra help, we have set up a clothes rail at the Nursery, stocked with  Winter coats and outerwear that you are welcome to take free of charge.
Please feel completely comfortable to help yourself if you see anything that would be useful for your child or family. There is no need to ask or feel embarrassed – the rail is there to support anyone who needs it.
We would also like to remind you about our textiles bank, located at the end of the car park. You can donate any old or unwanted clothes and textiles here. These items are reused or recycled to benefit other families and individuals, including those living in war-torn countries and communities facing hardship.
By sharing and donating in this way, we hope to support both our local community and the wider global community, while also encouraging children to think about kindness, reusing resources, and helping others. Thank you, for your continued support.
On another note, what a fantastic uptake we have had for Mystery Reader this week. The excitement on the children's faces as parents arrive in the room, to share a story with their friends, is just a joy to behold. Thank you to those parents who have already booked. If you would like to be a Mystery Reader then please speak to your Key Person or, if easier, email the office, our times are 9:15am or 2:45pm on a day of your choice. We look forward to seeing you soon.

Success Story of the Week!
Dear Parents,
This week’s success has been the wonderful visit from the travelling pantomime company to Oxhey Nursery School. Our Nursery children were treated to a lively, engaging performance filled with music, laughter, and plenty of opportunities to join in as the theatre performed their version of 'Little Red Riding Hood.'
The cost of the pantomime was kindly covered by our Governing Body, who are committed to ensuring that all children have access to culturally rich and memorable experiences during their time with us.

It is safe to say that everyone thoroughly enjoyed the performance. The Nursery was filled with shrieks of laughter, excited chatter, and delighted faces as the story unfolded.
Experiences like this help to bring stories to life, support children’s language and imagination, and create a real sense of shared joy across the setting.

We know that this will be an unforgettable experience for our children, with special memories made to last a lifetime.
