Head of School's Message

Dear Parents and Carers,

As we come to the end of a busy and joyful term at Oxhey Nursery School, we want to thank you for your continued support and partnership.

The children have amazed us with their curiosity, resilience and enthusiasm for learning. From exploring new stories and vocabulary, to developing their phonics, maths and self regulation skills, they have made wonderful progress.

Our workshops, festive activities and shared events have shown once again what a warm and caring community Oxhey is.

As we enter the holiday season, we wish you and your families peace, joy and prosperity for the New Year, and a time of good fortune for all.

Your children are only very young for a short while, so we encourage you to soak up this magical period with them as much as you can – enjoying the small moments of play, wonder and togetherness.

We look forward to welcoming all children back to Nursery on Monday 6th January. Until then, have a restful break and a very happy holiday from all of us at Oxhey Nursery School.

Success Story of the Week!

Dear Parents,

Thank you to all the families from Conker, Willow and Nursery Room who joined us for our recent Winter Workshops.

It was a truly special event, with over 40 families taking part in festive crafting together.

Children and adults alike enjoyed making sparkly hanging stars and colourful finger painted calendars, creating keepsakes that we hope will be treasured at home.

The atmosphere was warm, busy and joyful, and it was wonderful to see parents and carers working alongside their children, chatting, laughing and sharing ideas.

Events like this highlight the strength of our Oxhey Nursery community and the positive impact of home–school partnership on children’s learning and wellbeing. Thank you for giving your time and enthusiasm.

We look forward to hosting more workshops in the New Year and hope to see even more of you there.
