Head of School's Message
Dear Parents and Carers,

What a wonderful first full week we have had, it’s been really enjoyable seeing the children settle into their routines.
One of the ways we help, here at Oxhey, is by providing Breakfast Club for all our children should they require it. Breakfast is one of the most important meals of the day. Research shows that those who eat a good breakfast are likely to have better physical health, cognitive function, and academic performance, which is what we want for all our children. The Breakfast Club at Oxhey provides a nourishing breakfast of cereals, toast/pancakes/crumpets/bagels, fruits, and yoghurts.
Children are welcomed into the Breakfast Club by our staff and encouraged to eat breakfast together.
After breakfast, a pre-planned activity is delivered to your child before they start their day. The session is both nutritious and supportive in terms of academic growth. Sessions begin at 7:45am and run until 9:00am when school starts. The last breakfast will be served at 8:45 am.
If you wish your child to take advantage of the Breakfast Club, please contact the school office for booking inquiries.

Success Story of the Week!
Dear Parents,
We have been taken aback by how well your child has settled into the nursery.
Even if they appear upset when they leave you, most of our children settle quickly with the support of our expert practitioners who diligently support children into their room and play alongside them until they are settled.
Next week, we will be sending out a Parent Transition Survey to gain your feedback on our transition into Nursery and if there is anything we could do to improve it — please look out for this in your emails.
Your feedback is always valuable in shaping our practice and future endeavours.
